Job Description

As an AI Model Trainer – Health, you will be at the forefront of advancing AI capabilities in medicine by contributing your clinical expertise to the training and refinement of cutting-edge AI models. You will work closely with engineers and researchers to annotate and evaluate complex health-related data, including medical texts, clinical reasoning, and diagnostic pathways to improve the model’s understanding of medical content. This role is essential in ensuring that AI systems reflect the depth and nuance of real-world medical knowledge.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Use proprietary software to label, annotate, and provide structured input on medical content across various formats (text, voice, video).
  • Evaluate and improve AI-generated responses related to clinical reasoning, diagnostics, and patient care.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to identify and refine training tasks in medical domains.
  • Ensure all work aligns with current clinical standards and medical best practices.
  • Participate in research-driven tasks with evolving formats and guidelines; flexibility and adaptability are key.
  • Accurately interpret and execute task instructions, even when ambiguous or incomplete.
  • Provide feedback to improve internal annotation tools and training pipelines.
  • Willingness to participate in audio or video tasks as part of data creation and evaluation, as required.


Requirements

Required:

  • MD, DO, or equivalent international medical degree (e.g., MBBS, MBBCh, BMBS).
  • Strong understanding of clinical reasoning and the ability to explain medical concepts clearly and accurately.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with attention to clarity, grammar, and tone.
  • Comfortable with remote work tools, digital annotation platforms, and task-based workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment with limited guidance.

Preferred:

  • Board certification or completed residency in a medical specialty.
  • Experience in clinical teaching, academic research, or medical writing.
  • Prior involvement in AI model training, data labeling, or clinical informatics projects.
  • Publication in peer-reviewed journals or experience contributing to medical content development.
Benefits

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $100–$165/hour, depending on education, experience, and specialization.
  • Part-Time Roles:
    • Flexible scheduling with no benefits.
    • Required to work 20–29 hours/week, including at least 10 weekday hours.
