Job Description

As the Center Manager, you will oversee daily clinic operations, lead clinical and administrative teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Management & Operations:

  • Foster a positive team culture to enhance employee retention and job satisfaction.
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase referrals through marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, profitability, and cost management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, payers, and external stakeholders.
  • Supervise Aide staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient patient scheduling.
  • Optimize caseload management and staff productivity.
  • Conduct staff orientation, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
  • Approve supply orders and manage cost efficiencies.


2) Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee files, including licensure, certifications, and medical documentation.
  • Participate in annual compliance meetings and quality improvement programs.
  • Lead monthly staff meetings to align teams with company updates and goals.
  • Ensure center cleanliness, safety, and adherence to regulatory standards.


3) Clinical & Patient Care:

  • Adhere to state practice acts for physical therapy or occupational therapy services.
  • Provide direct patient care, including evaluations, treatments, and ongoing assessments.
  • Document treatment plans and track patient progress effectively.
  • Maintain open communication with patients, families, and referring physicians.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

1) Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy (PT) or Occupational Therapy (OT) program (CAPTE-accredited or equivalent for international candidates).
  • Licensure: Active state licensure/registration where applicable.
  • Experience:Previous experience in physical therapy or occupational therapy settings.
  • Proven management or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, financial management, and operational efficiency.

2) Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel).


3) Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional judgment in patient care and team supervision.


4) Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent walking, bending, standing, and reaching.
  • Strong visual and auditory abilities to ensure patient safety and effective communication.
  • Fine motor skills for accurate documentation and equipment handling.
